Teeny-Tiny Tina is a fun-with-alliteration nickname typically reserved for my sister-in-law. But it also applies to this precious little girl at the new Starfish Cleft Home. Amanda, who runs the Starfish Foster Home (in China) for special needs babies, was approached by a local orphanage with a heartbreaking problem. There were 12 cleft palate babies leaving the hospital and no place for them to go. Amanda had been considering starting a special cleft home, but the funds were not yet ready. Well, now the babies were here, so she changed her volunteer quarters into their new nursery. Meanwhile, several wonderful ladies were working their blogs overtime to start getting funds for these little ones. Kimberly, Daleea and Robin, God Bless YOU for helping the babies. So, the deal is that for $25 a month, you can be a part of helping these little ones. It costs $150 a month to take care of one baby, so if you are interested in helping, please consider doing so. (If you decide you do want to become a sponsor, please leave me a comment and I'll get you the email to the coordinator). You can check out the blog HERE to see all the babies. Aren't they adorable?

Amanda is such a wonderful lady.... Jeff met her when he was in China with Ty. The family he was traveling with adopted their daughter from Amanda's Starfish Home. Amanda is one in a million!!!!!!!
