Happy Easter!

We had a very fun Easter, although our fun was slightly dampened by a mean flu bug.  Last Monday in the early morning hours, Greg woke up sick. But then felt better by Monday morning and was back to normal by Tuesday.  So we played outside and enjoyed the weather.  Then Wednesday Doug came down with it.  He took a little longer to recover but seemed okay by Friday.  Grandma Janet and Grandpa Delmar came down to help us celebrate Easter on Saturday.  Despite the wind, we were able to play outside for a little and Grandpa, Doug and Greg rode their bikes.  

Sunday morning we went to our Sonrise service, and the boys did a very good job singing their songs, or at least standing up there nicely.  Well, except for when Greg started messing with Doug's face, but Doug was an excellent big brother and just stood there and Greg finally stopped.  Then after the regular church service we came home and took pictures: 

And then gave the boys their Easter baskets:

And then had an Easter egg hunt.  Greg really worked hard opening all his eggs.  

Then we went on a bike ride at a local metro park (Grandma and Grandpa brought their bikes down on Doug's request). We ran out of time to color eggs, but maybe we can still do that this week.  I actually got the flu Sunday night, as did Grandma Janet.  We're both feeling better today.  I am now sterilizing the house for the 3rd time this week, hoping this time I get all the germs!
